Connecting Motif via USB? Help

Hi,
I am pretty new to recording, but I am making my way along. I have a motif 6 classic and Cubase 4 Le (came with my Audiobox). I recently got EzDrummer and I want to control it with my motif keyboard. I have the driver and it recognizes it, but I cant figure out how to set it up. It is plugged in via USB and I would really appreciate help on how to set it up.

Recording MotifXS8

I am working with a few MIDI/audio projects in Logic. I want to record some drums and strings off of my motif and into logic to incorporate with the software synths already in the project. Is there any quick way to get these samples to adhere to the grid so that I can quantize them the same way that I would a MIDI piece?

reason or motif?

Hey I'm trying to figure out whats best for my mini studio. Im trying to add instruments to my audio and guitar recordings and i wish to record and create from varied genres though mostly rock. Should i get a Yamaha motif(or mo6), Cubase with its vst instruments or reason 4 with a midi keyboard. which sounds better, has the most instruments and has the most creative freedom?
