Wow lucky you...that's a massive room. Do you have a drawing of the room? what is the shape?

Can we hear it, or see it? I'm guessing you've tried recording in it and have a problem? If it has hard surfaces then it could be horrible to record in, or maybe by luck - sound amazing. I don't personally like big hard surfaced spaces with 90 degree corners - angles and diffusion work , but a space like a big barn doesn't always sound good. A photo and maybe a sound file of a recording you've made would be very helpful

The Room is square (for now) but I plan on making some changes as soon as lumber isn't 300% more than it should be lol. Im not having issued with the sound, in fact im enjoying the sound as it is right now but the idea with posting is simply to see if anyone has more creative ideas to try out. why not right? I have a ton of space witch is rare these days and I want to play around with it. 2 recordings. one is just overheads, Kick in / out and Snare top/bottom (I have toms micd but don't use them really for this example so I just muted them. I'll have to ad another comment to ad the 2nd file but here is the first with NO room mics. Recording has NO Fx or anything on any channels, simply checked for phase and then added a drum buss compressor (api 2500) with 2:1 comp and fast attack and release for glue.

In mono to check the room mic phase sounded good. Thumbs up to my ears.

Do you have any mixes of your room with music added? (other than the gobo's) how else are you dampening to get a more dead sound as needed for particular mixes?

Are people sending you tracks/ how are you using your studio? What room mics/ gear are you using for drum mics?

That is a beautiful room!  I also have a very large studio. Here is what I have found.  In a 29 x29 room if you want the room mics in front of the kit put the the drum set 10 feet into the room with the drummers back to the wall.  Keep the kit centered side to side.  This will give you lots of room to walk around the mic and plenty of choices for room micing.  My room is 45x55 and this ratio works well for me.  The middle of the room is my least favourite place.  

I’d try moving the kit toward the pole, and rotating it a bit so the drums face out into the corner of the room. This might help get reflections out of your overheads, taming the cymbals and maybe get you into a less muddy spot in the room.

for the room mic, one trick I learned was to sim them at the wall a few inches away, or aim them up at a corner in the room. This catches the reflection off the wall, and less direct sound.
