Do you have any mixes of your room with music added? (other than the gobo's) how else are you dampening to get a more dead sound as needed for particular mixes?
Are people sending you tracks/ how are you using your studio? What room mics/ gear are you using for drum mics?

That is a beautiful room! I also have a very large studio. Here is what I have found. In a 29 x29 room if you want the room mics in front of the kit put the the drum set 10 feet into the room with the drummers back to the wall. Keep the kit centered side to side. This will give you lots of room to walk around the mic and plenty of choices for room micing. My room is 45x55 and this ratio works well for me. The middle of the room is my least favourite place.

I’d try moving the kit toward the pole, and rotating it a bit so the drums face out into the corner of the room. This might help get reflections out of your overheads, taming the cymbals and maybe get you into a less muddy spot in the room.
for the room mic, one trick I learned was to sim them at the wall a few inches away, or aim them up at a corner in the room. This catches the reflection off the wall, and less direct sound.
