My midi problems are solved by way of completely restoring OMS. Something went screwy. By the way, I have had problems with Waves plugs clipping out, I have no solution but to avoid them when I have a lot of material hitting the meters hard.

I guess already what ya have faced...
Be careful when you apply HPF´s with hot audio signals. If your input signal is around -1dB, what ya have to do is lower your input gain.
This is a problem that can arise with most equalizers but WAVES Q series gets quite nasty distorting hot signals while you apply HPF´s. Overshoot and phase shift.
