The recording sounds very thin and tinny, especially the treble. What's the best way to stop this? Preferably without recording again if possible. I'm a relative novice when it comes to recording software. I recorded it into adobe audition and then transferred it to premiere pro to go behind a video i've made. I recorded it on an electro acoustic faith venus through the line in, kept the onbaord preamp eq neutral, and recorded through an m box 2 interface.

The likely cause is phase issues - left and right are combining destructively and perhaps Premiere's mixer has them not hard panned left and right so the 'mooning', or width reduction is causing phase cancellation of the centre. I go from Cubase too Premiere and back daily, and occasionally accidentally shift the pan on left and right separate tracks by accident.

just realised it's fine within recording software and seems to go bad after export from premiere pro, so this question probably isn't relevant to this board anymore. Not sure how to delete thread?
