I have RODE NT1A, M Audio Nova, and other mics and I use Logic Express 8. My acoustics haven't been sounding very good. There is a an echo and reverberation when I record. What could do I do to fix this problem or should I just buy a S.E. Reflection Filter.

I have my imac computer with my desk and next to it is one of my mic stands and next to the mic stand is my drawer. Every item I just described is pressed against the wall.

How big is the room? (W x D x H) Is there any acoustic treatment in it? When you record, do you leave the mic right there against the wall? How far are you away from the mic when you sing? (I assume you're talking about vocals).
Wait a minute, one more question: is that echo a really pronounced delay? As if you hear yourself singing through your own head as you sing, but also half a second later through the headphones or monitors?

I'm not sure how big my room is its a pretty medium size. I have no acoustic treatment in my room. I'm about 4 inches away from the mic and the mic is around 6 inches from that wall. The echo has no delay you just heard it in the recording. It sounds like I'm recording in a medium sized cave.

A clip would definitely help. You say it's a medium sized room and it sounds like a medium sized cave. Coincidence? Probably not. Try moving the mic a few feet away from the wall, and hang a heavy duvet or comforter on the wall behind the mic, so the reflections off that wall are tamed a little. Try moving it further away. Try many different positions in the room for the mic. Does any of that make things better? I have an NT1A and it's pretty sensitive - my guess is that it's picking up a lot of your room sound, and your room sound is the sound of a medium sized cave. The reflexion filter is a couple hundred bucks, and a couple hundred bucks worth of acoustic treatment would likely do more good than the filter (and would improve the sound for mixing and for tracking other instruments too, not just for when you're recording vocals).
