I am fairly new to recording and I am learning new things every day. My equipment is:

AEA R84 ribbon mic
Shure KSM32
Great River MP-2NV
Fireface 800
Cubase SX3

My primary interest is acoustic music, my main instruments are dobro, Weissenborn guitar and acoustic guitar.

I am interested in upgrading spatial effects/reverb/delay and compression and would appreciate hearing from any/all...

Are there any plugins that come close to the qaulity of the high-end Lexicon verbs -480 or 960? I tried the Waves stuff and was not impressed? Any feedback on best compressor plugin ?..
