I haven't been able to find too much information on http://www.cadmics…"]these[/]="http://www.cadmics…"]these[/], other than through the CAD site itself. Anyone with first-hand experience or strong opinions on CAD stuff in general?

I use a CAD M9 and M179 - love'em both. I use to be a dealer (amongst other 'affordable' brands), and never had any issues with CAD - they always won out to my ear.
Tried the 6000 and 8000 - if the 8000 had a bass roll-off, would have kept it and sold my M9.
Don't have the room or the preamp to really take advantage of a ribbon mic so didn't bother trying the 7000 but have heard good things.
Lots of good mics out there for the money, and CAD's definetely one of them.
