Ok,installed the latest edition of the software from Tascam (1.3) and connected my new 1884. Why is it not controlling Cubase? When I press play on the Tascam, the far right level display on the Cubase Transport Panel shows a level, but nothing else happens. Any ideas?

I own an FW-1884 and in order for it to run with Cubase (at least last I checked they made an update since) you have to run it in Native Mackie Mode or something like that, you also have to add a Mackie HUI control surface in the Cubase VST control panel thing...
I bet if you read all the directions it would probably work :)
