Well, first let me ask you, what type and what speed of processor are you planning to use?

There seems to be a lot of people with the opinion that you should choose the motherboard, more specifically, the chipset, to be compatible with the soundcard/interface you are going to use. When I built my system, I started there.

Sorry to double post, what I meant to say was, pick in this order...soundcard....chipset....motherboard....processer...ram...etc...
