Not entierly sure what you mean by this but it sounds like distortion from clipping.
If you are going thru a pre-amp or active pickup before the FirePod, try setting these levels lower until you no longer get the hum.

are you going thru the direct input with the firepod? if your going through a preamp before the firepod, route it to the microphone input, not instrument.

it sounds like your going into a mixer then to the firepod if so you may want to compromise between the gain knobs at the mixer and firepod give and take and see which works best i have a firepod and i know if you push that gain past the last 1/4 of the way it will start giving slight noise
