Hi, I'm looking into buying a DAW mainly for live recording, rehearsals etc.. I am currently looking into a fostex mr8hd. Does anyone have anything good or bad to say about this unit. Any input would be appreciated, Thanks
I actually own one of these and used to use it when I first got into digital recording. I would use it all the time to demo my band. I loved the machine. It's a great beginners machine, it's what got me interested in digital recording. I would recommend getting some kind of editing software to edit down your .wavs on. I wasn't too crazy about it's punch in and sequencing functions. But it's def. worth the price. Good luck!
