HELLO THERE I NEEDED SOME ADVICE IN Mixing VOCALS. MY GENERE IS RAP I TRIED Mixing THEM MYSELF BUT THEY JUST DONT SOUND THE SAME AS THE GUYS ON THE RADIO. OK HERE IS WHAT I AM DOING PERHAPS YOU GUYS THE PROS CAN HELP FIRST OF ALL I AM USING A USB Mic SHOULD I GET A REAL Mic IF SO WHATS THE DIFFRENCE YOU STILL HAVE TO CONVERT THE SIGNAL TO DIGITAL.
I RECORD THE VOCALS, I EDITED THE POPS THE BACKGROUND NOISE, I ADD SOME COMPRESSION, DELAY A TINY SPEC OF REVERB BUT STILL MY VOCALS SOUND LIKE THERES A BIG CHUNK OF AIR BETWEEN THE VOICE AND THE BEAT. PLUS WHEN I HEAR IT BACK IN ONE EAR IT SOUNDS REAL FUNNY LIKE ECHOEY ALMOST ANY SUGGESTIONS WOULD BE APPRECIEATE IT.
OH YEAH ONE MORE INFO WHEN YOU HEAR THE BEAT IT SOUNDS PROFFESIONAL BUT WHEN THE VOCALS HIT YOUR LIKE WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON.

try treating your room. if you hear "a big chunk of air" it may be because you're recording in a room that's too live. get some acoustic treatment - or one of the SE Reflection Filters - and that should certainly help.
otherwise, try it without any delay or reverb in order to see if that is the culprit.
oh - one thing that will DEFINITELY make your tracks sound better -- DONT TYPE IN ALL CAPSLOCK!

What. You come in here using all caps, with inaccurate grammar, then call a guy out on his flawless spelling?
No need for the rage.
Interestingly enough, this is about an audio recording. There are generally a lot of things that affect an audio recording and the best way is not to use badly chosen adjectives, but actually to let other people hear the problem for themselves.

I'm not sure if what you are trying to describe is an effect called latency. This makes the track that is added to the original tracks slightly off time, as it is recorded a few milliseconds out of alignment. This can be corrected by sliding the vocal track over to match the beat of the main tracks in most software.
The reason someone asked for a sample is that the highly technical term "echoey" (def. Merriam 1 a : the repetition of a sound caused by reflection of sound waves b : the sound due to such reflection) is probably not very accurate in this case. It may be though, without hearing the anomaly it is almost impossible to tell if it is in fact reflection due to your recording space or something else all together.
If you really want assistance with this and can comport yourself with dignity and refrain from name calling then perhaps some of the highly experienced "morons" can help you.
Some further info that would be helpful is, what software are you using to record? What size buffers are you using and how are you monitoring the recording process?
You can post a sample at soundclick.com if you want to further this discussion.
p.s. Typing in caps is the internet equivalent of screaming. Let's assume you didn't know that.

"WHATS THE DIFFRENCE"
Between your setup and theirs? About 500,000 dollars. And numerous years of combined talent of the producer, engineer and "talent" if such a thing exists in rap.
Oh, and autotune. Tuckfons of autotune.
