try treating your room. if you hear "a big chunk of air" it may be because you're recording in a room that's too live. get some acoustic treatment - or one of the SE Reflection Filters - and that should certainly help.

otherwise, try it without any delay or reverb in order to see if that is the culprit.

oh - one thing that will DEFINITELY make your tracks sound better -- DONT TYPE IN ALL CAPSLOCK!

Interestingly enough, this is about an audio recording. There are generally a lot of things that affect an audio recording and the best way is not to use badly chosen adjectives, but actually to let other people hear the problem for themselves.

Well, , , try and give a bit of help to someone and they freak out over something that has nothing to do with his own question.

I'm not sure if what you are trying to describe is an effect called latency. This makes the track that is added to the original tracks slightly off time, as it is recorded a few milliseconds out of alignment. This can be corrected by sliding the vocal track over to match the beat of the main tracks in most software.
The reason someone asked for a sample is that the highly technical term "echoey" (def. Merriam 1 a : the repetition of a sound caused by reflection of sound waves b : the sound due to such reflection) is probably not very accurate in this case. It may be though, without hearing the anomaly it is almost impossible to tell if it is in fact reflection due to your recording space or something else all together.
If you really want assistance with this and can comport yourself with dignity and refrain from name calling then perhaps some of the highly experienced "morons" can help you.
Some further info that would be helpful is, what software are you using to record? What size buffers are you using and how are you monitoring the recording process?
