Hello,
For the ME's out there that also have experience with multitrack programs like Cubase/Nuendo, I was wondering what are some recommendations for Channel EQ plugins, and channel/Group Bus Compressors.
I don't want to get caught up using something bad that will degrade my sound. I'm trying to get the best sounding mixes together to give to whoever will be mastering my material.
So to recap:
Best channel EQ's
Best channel/group comp's
Best channel/group Limiter's (is this something I want to use?)
Thanks in advance.

What I'm looking for I guess is called transparency. I don't want to use something that will do more harm than good before I even touch a knob.
I also heard that alot of EQ'S will introduce phase problems.
Just a little guidance to some all around Good plugs.
Thanks for answering.

yeah it's a very personel topic, matter of taste for shure, all mentioned devices can have "character" for me the waves and TC bundle are doing a fine job when it comes to VST's you have to experience how to use them, that's most important, and get a taste of using what for what, hard to say "best"
if you don't know how to apply effects propperly even a fairchild or pultec want help you!!
try stuff out and decide yourself.

If you're referring to VST plugs, the UAD collection is by far my favorite.
Hardware is another story -
Which particular EQ or comp plug depends on what the track needs.
