Ya Im sure, the One on the shockmount is like half the size than the stands.

I think HansAm is right. The adapter is screwed into the shockmount. Usually you can use a coin to get up in there and remove the smaller stud inside.

Ahh yes, I found it now, I just used a loonie and got it out of there, wow, didnt think it would be that easy.

Is it alright to use a shockmount when micing amps?

As its alright to use shock mount on whatever your doing with the mic ;)
