hi all.
i would like to get some input on different EQ units.
i am trying to avoid using my Mackie mixer for recording into my DAW interface. I am currently using an Avalon m5 as my mic preamp and a drawmer tubestation2 for compression inserted directly into my motu2408. I am finding that i would like to EQ some of the sounds before had, as opposed to fixing them with a plugin .
can anyone recommend some EQs to look at that might work well inserted in with my current setup?
Thanks in advance.

thanks for the input. i reviewed and compared the choices and ended up purchasing the Speck Electronics Model ASC. I have been testing it for a week now and i am happy with the selection. for me, it has ended up being an affordable solution for avoiding the mackie's eq.
thanks.

Avoiding the eq in the Mackie is smart thing. For decent eq I'd suggest those from Great River, Speck and Focusrite Red-3.
