Need help to get my feet wet..

Hello all,

I was wondering if anyone can give my some advice on finding studios in the NY/NJ area that do a lot of acoustic recordings? (Classical, jazz..)
Finally graduated, and need to get my feet wet in the real world, any info would be greatly appreciated!

Hi, a job as an assistant engineer would be great! However, I was told that to get a paying job right from the start is virtually impossible, so an apprenticeship that can expand my knowledge and build my experience in acoustic recording would be good, too. Thanks!
