Congradulations!!!

Those are very nice. The woofer has a slightly heavier cone and can go lower, the tweeter on the T model has a more extensive crossover than the NS10M. These are actually really nice speakers, you got them for a real deal. I like them al;ot, had a pair as well.

Now, the kicker, If they are L/R models or if you got two rights or two lefts. Without the onterone grill less, hard to tell. They made both mirrowed ones and non mirrowed. Let me know when you get them. The woofers are actually smoother too and have all the good qualities of the ns10 with photo paper cone.

I love a good find and a good deal. I spent a long time today on google, and I still couldn't find more info than I origianlly posted. Nothing. Nobody's responded on gearslutz.com, yet, either.

Do you know why this is? I was even calling Yamaha speaker replacement outfits, and they hadn't even heard of them.

When were they made? Discontinued? Any frequency response info?

I hope they are in calibration.

Probably are..takes a lot to knock them out.

Remember, you will need to learn to trust them. Make them sound as good as can be during mixing...then translation will happen.

I'm turning into one of these people who's spending the better part of a song diquing around with stuff that 95% of anyone who listens will never hear...

and I can't de-dorkify! If anything, it's getting worse. I am headed for a period of actually finishing some songs, I think. All of this gear lust has its price on the songwriting side.

Interesting. I just saw a pair of these over at a used stereo store in Berkeley last weekend. They looked brand new and were going for $120 which still seems like a good price. I went there on a hunch that they would have diskwasher fluid for vinyl. I spent an hour ogling at all the vintage hi fi gear. Very cool!! They had the diskwasher fluid too.

I just called that guy today! His one one of the few googles that showed up. I left my # and am hoping he'll call me back.

Small world ain't it? I've been doing business with that shop off and on for 20 years. It's amazing they are still able to keep it going.

Think about it: I buy something from a guy on ebay. I google the item online and read a text description by another guy selling one. I come up here, post, and you reply that you have stood in front of the very speakers that I have just read about. Then that guy emails me, and I talk with you about this guy that we've both talked to, but whom only you've met. Gets funky!
