Hey all. Basically I'm looking for some interesting books, articles, websites, whatever with some info on sound design. Actually I'm more specifically looking for abstract stuff, like lasers, swooshes, space sounds, monsters, explosions, magic sounds, and the like. Stuff for Sci-Fi.

I realize that a lot of this stuff is trade secrets, and kept pretty tight, but there's gotta be something like a message board or basic how-to book.

I'm pretty new to SFX design, but feel that I have a good grasp on the "real" (foley stuff) and slightly larger than life stuff (punches, etc.). It's the completely synthesized stuff that's killing me right now.
