I just started working with a client who recorded his project on ADATs at another studio. When transferring his tracks to my Pro Tools system, he wasn't sure of the sample rate. He thought it was 44.1, and on playback, said it sounded right. Now he says it is slow.
Now we have 8 songs that were recorded at 48 on my 44.1 Pro Tools system. Is there any way, aside from starting over, to change the sample rates of all the tracks so they sound right?
Thanks

I'm surprised he couldn't tell immediatey and definitively that the record was not playing back at the correct sample rate. The ratio of 48 to 44.1 equates to almost a major second down in pitch - two half steps. Can you do the transfer again? Can you resample the tracks to 48?
