Anyone have any insight on this compressor. Sure would like some reviews.

Good one, Kurt!
Behringer and Samsom are worth the money, but you really do GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR!
I have Behringer's MX8000 24 channel 8 bus mixer I use for our rehearsal room, and it works fine, but it was like $1000 used! I have some other cheaper Behringer gear that leaves much to be desired.
I haven't used the Samson stuff yet, but it looks suspiciously simular to the Behringer designs (which were copied from Aphex and Mackie!) and is at the same price point (CHEAP!)
If it fits the bill, go for it. If you can spring a bit more, go for an entry DBX unit.
Later

I have a samson s-com. I use it for the noise gate. The gate is really nice in that you can set it to be totally transparent. It has good adjustability. I use it all the time and like it. I have not used the compressor in it as I have two Ashly's.
Can you say Behringer?
