In 1932, the first electric guitar was built, in Los Angeles, by the skilled craftsman, Harry Watson and sold by Adolph Rickenbacker and George Beauchamp’s new company, Ro-Pat-In. (It was later called Rickenbacker.)

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
N.B

Beauchamp had been experimenting using phonograph pickups to electrify guitars since 1925.

Beauchamp’s original pickup consisted of two horseshoe magnets, which the strings pass through, with six pole pieces focusing the magnetic field on each string.

Seb, I realize scores are non negotible however, Mike lost 5 points in the last round. I'm sure it's just a clerical error.

That's part of our depreciation program.
It's actually possible to lose points by lack of participation.
Mike dropped out way too early.... we all know he could've done better .....
Those points could use a good home.

Hey Seb, you wouldn't happen to have access to deleted posts would you....and the time they were deleted....I'm such an idiot.

Sorry Bri ...... not possible.
Negative self branding ,,, such as in the latter half of your sentence only increases the risk of heart disease.....

These are the current scores.....
As you can see i have been quite generous yet again.
This generosity will cease once we start the next 'round.
..... be prepared and fully flared ...... 8)
