Hello everyone --
I'm just wondering what would be the best way to setup my Focusrite ISA 220 with an MBOX?
I just want to make sure I'm not coloring my sound too much. Here's what I'm doing so far:
I have the Focusrite ISA 220 going into the MBOX input via XLR to TRS cable ( its so that the input bypasses the MBOX's built in mic preamp ).
From there i choose Line on the MBOX.
I adjust the Focusrite Input Gain until I'm getting good levels on the ISA 220, and i leave the Output and unity gain.
From there on i adjust the input gain knob on the MBOX until I'm getting good levels in Pro Tools.
Is this proper?
Or would someone suggest a different approach. Thanks :)
that's pretty much perfect.
