She is a she, not a friend but my girlfriend. And yes she has a DAW, protools mix+++ to be exact. She's a singer/songwriter and spends alot of time at home working on her music, the DAW is the best solution for her needs. Thing is, I cant afford to take her into the studio ALL the time (besides, I dont have the time) so I was looking for a "cost effective" preamp for her so she can get some respectable sounds at the house.

I will be marrying her one day, pretty scary finding someone who is into this stuff as much as you are. She's more into the songwriting part while im more into the producing end.
