Hello all,
I am looking for some advice on outboard eq's for mic matching and tracking. I was thinking more along the lines of filters and shelving as opposed to balls out sweep eq's etc... and no bigger than 2U.
No limitation on budget, I just want to know what is out there that I can get my hands on.
I currently a fairly decent set of mic preamps going into my DAW in the form of CLM dynamics (8 channels thro' ADAT lightpipe, TLA ivory (4 channels), and SPL Goldmike (2 channels).
And a FATSO.

The Manley Massive Passive is truely great and awesome. I plan on getting another. But it is three rack spaces so....
Limiting yourself to two rack spaces should be the very last of criteria when searching for sound quality tools. Go hunting at places like http://www.sweetwater.com or [url=(dead link removed)[/url] and tickle your fancy...

Thanks for the advice.
The reason for the size limit is that I have a mobile rig and only 2U left in one of my 2 SKB boxes.
I may in future need to get another case, but two 6U cases is all I can transport around for now.
At present I don't have any eq for tracking, which is probably a good thing, meaning I have to be at the top of my game as far as mic placement goes and tweaking the FATSO which I think is amazing.

Speck eq (the little SSL type). VERY inexpensive and absolutely the best for those on a budget.
