Oh yeah, she is the genuine article... Was reading an interview with Arif Mardin her producer and she almost didn't get signed, some execs thought her stuff was not commercial, then she started getting incredible reviews and everyone wanted her music. The same execs that almost fired someone who suggested signing her are now saying "Get another Nora for us please!"
About the Grammys: Big dissapointment for me, looked like the Grammys were taken over by the urban pop culture. The only two really good acts there were Nora, James Taylor, and Dixie Chicks, the thing with Cold Play was way over the top, I kept wondering when the guy was going to flip and have the piano fall on him(it should have, his playing was atrocious). I thought I was watching the Oscars intead of music awards, I fell asleep it was so pathetic.... If that is where we are headed then "Beam me up Scottie" !!!
