Hi folks,

I've got all the equipment I need for a planned recording, except a talkback monitor.
For this purpose I'm going to use a dynamic mic and a cable snake with XLR inputs/outputs (which I already have), so I just need a monitor.
This monitor will not be used for anything else but talkback, thus it can be the "cheapest" monitor on the market (and it doesn't need to produce quality sound). But it would be an advantage if it had an XLR input, or at least a JACK input (1/4" size).

I would appreciate any recommendation!

Thanx :D

This is a question that is really unlikely to yield a useful result on an international recording forum. If you are really looking at the absolute cheapest monitor, you want to be looking a garage sales, Craigslist, the local dump - any place that you and some wire and soldering iron can put together a talkback system with a computer mic and an old stereo system. None of us can really help. It's local knowledge. If you want a monitor that is useful in other applications, then we have to know what those applications are.
