The two DRAMs you link to operate on different voltages. Unless the Asus MB can read the SPD EEPROM before powering up the main memory and crank the volts to the correct value, I would look for a nearer equivalent.

Generally, lower CAS latency indicate higher quality memory but I personnally recommend not to take the lower latency to increase general stability of your system....
