I agree with Coldsnow that the M3000 is really cool. We got a used one and when I first used it I thought it sounded odd. After listening to some of the mixes I used it on and I was really happy with the reverb sounds. The TC lit talking about their early reflection making more realistic sounds is true to my ears.
The RAM on my M3000 freaked out mid last week. I got a response from an email to TC to call tech support. They were very helpful, as well as claiming a 3-4 day turn-around.
I also like the Lexicon PCM80. It has lots of sounds, that are actually useful. It's not as intuitive as the TC, or the Eventide line, but it sounds great.
My $.02

I personally love the TC M3000. To me the reverbs are sweeter than the $2000 dollar Lexicon models. If you want to save some money the M2000 has just come down in price to around $700. It is pretty awsome as well. Just my subjective opinion though.
