Im a 20 year old Aussie singer/songwriter trying to get a portable high quality system happening for recording my songs as demos. I ve been looking at the V 505 Vaio and the M-Audio Firewire 410, but i have a few questions. If i wanted to record 3 Simultaneous Mic-ed inputs, I would need another preamp yes? if so, which affordable and portable preamp would anyone recommend? What are some other options as far as laptop and Portable recording solutions go? I looked at the MOTU 828 mk2 and the digirack 002 but wasnt sure if the outlay was worth it... :?: Also what tracking/recording programs do ppl find most useful?> Cheers,
