What do you consider the must have plugins for very modern rock in VST or RTAS form. I already have UAD Ultra, Waves Diamond, and a few others. Thanks

I got the diamond bundle for very little cost, and that's why. I have the anteres line aswell. I am looking for a good noise gate, one thats very effective for drums specifically, maybe some plug-ins effective for guitar or vocals, and anything else. I know some people have some plug-ins they can't live without. I'm trying to find out what some of those are. That Sonalksis looks pretty cool. Does anyone know about the McDSP Tape saturation plug-in? Im going to get into all the bomb factory, I have protools LE, but have not installed it yet. Just wondering about specific plug ins that are worth it. Thanks.

You've listed basically the A-list of plugins. Use what you've got. If you can't get the sound that you want, then ask.

You want plugins that are effective for guitar or drums??? in what way?

The most valuable plug-in i have is SonicCharge MicroTonic. Sure, it's a drum machine that's electronic (not real) sounding and is not very editable when it comes to drum patterns. But is can make some glorious sounds and is super easy to use, and in today's "very modern rock", you need to have that electronic sound.

Oh...and check these out too. http://digitalfishphones.com/

Im a big fan of the very produced type sound, I use triggers and all of that. I would like to make the vox, drums, and guitars as clean, full and present as possible. I know how to use everything, I just don't want to miss out on any tools I could have. Thanks a lot for the digital fish phones site, I have been hearing very good things about the floorfish.

What I would like would be a convolution software that would take a sound sample of my imperfect room and then make automatic adjustments to my hearing so as to allow for the rooms acoustic faults. Then it all would sound acoustically perfect and I would at least know that any problems would be due to my judgement.
