Hi,

I’m looking at starting a small home recording system to work on my songs with. I’d like the system to handle a bit of everything style-wise (rock/pop/country/R&B). I’m thinking of a Mac with Pro Tools LE, an M-Audio key controller and trying to make some decisions about software. Has anyone tried KitCore Deluxe and/or EZ Drummer? Can they compare and contrast them for me? Basically I would use the grooves and occasionally do my own beats with the MIDI sounds. Also any suggestion on which Mac to get? Do you really need a tower/desktop model or is a MacBook Pro enough?
