The new conductor of the LA Philharmonic (Gustavo Dudamel) came from this orchestra. They're coming to town in a month or so, but I'm not sure I'll have time to go see them. :(

There's also one of them, making the rounds with a Bernstein piece from the Proms of this past year. Lots of moving around, playing and standing, etc. The crowd went nuts on that one, too. It's on youtube as well, I'll post it if I find it again....

Looks a little bit like a sports game half time ceremony but the enthusiasm is undeniable. Music sounds fine as well.
