A dummy head recorder is equipment, so there's one piece of the puzzle...

Neumann is the only one that I know of ... any other manufacturers of a binaural dummy head ??? ... perhaps giving them a call would help?

I use to have piece of stereo equipment that use to do that it achieved it's results by comb filtering if I remember right. It delayed some parts of the signal to take away some of the phase cancelations or something like that. It's been a long time.... slept since then so I don't even remember if my memory is correct on this. Under the right circumstances with certain effects it sounded like things were flying over your head with only 2 speakers. Of course time aligned speakers help with the effect. Wish I could remember who manufactured that.....
