hey guys,
Can anyone tell me how to achieve the gang vocal effect in the clip below? The sound effect I'm talking about comes in at about 10 seconds. (you'll know what I'm talking about)

I'm familiar with normal gang vocals, but these sound a bit different.

It sounds to me like there are multiple tracks, but i cannot tell if the tracks were all sang individually and then added together... or if there were tracks where a group of singers all sang together. also what effects would be applied?

thanks a ton!

Just remember when you're doing your own backup vocals, on every separate pass, change the speed at which you are playing and/or recordings. One time a little bit up. Another time a little down. On the next pass, a different microphone or distance from it, etc.. That's the only way to become a crowd by yourself.

I'm feeling crowded in my brassiere. I guess I'll take it off.
