Frustrated that I can't fit in a trip to NYC later this month, I'm hoping that I can at least get some good highlights from the show. I know that there are a couple of guys who regularly report from the show via posts to RAP; those will be great for those of us who can't be there for whatever reasons.

But I'm gonna ask for even more if possible. There is going to be a 2nd verion of the "When Vinyl Ruled" exhibit at this year's show. The exhibit at last year's LA show was the highlight of the conference for many of us. But I have been unable to find any photos from that exhibit anywhere online. Fortunately, I got to spend lots of time upstairs at that exhibit. But I'm not gonna be there this year, and I want to make sure that I can at least get to see photos of the exhibit. I'm sure that I'm not the only person who can't get to NYC this month that would be interested in this exhibit (the previews sound really cool). Assuming that photography is allowed in the room with the "When Vinyl Ruled, pt2" exhibit, I will gladly post any photos on my website.

Hopefully, last year's exhibit got enough positive press that this year's version will be well documented and an article and photo gallery will show up in a magazine or on the AES website or someplace. But if not, and if photography is allowed, I gladly post the photos so that everyone can view them. I really can't believe that last year's exhibit disappeared without any record that can be viewed by those who weren't there.
