Hi everyone,
I’ve been busy on my third solo album for about three years in total and I can finally say that the album is finished.
It’s being printed/replicated at the moment.
Three weeks ago I had the opportunity to be interviewed on radio about the album so I decided to film the interview. It came out very well and so I decided to edit it and add plenty of “in studio” footage of the recording process as well.
I have put up the odd song from the album on the forum over the past year or so and had some really good responses, so I thought that it might interest some members. I realise it's a bit long (about 24 minutes) but I tried to cut it down as much as possible.
It’s very rare to find a radio station in this day and age that would even be remotely interested in this kind of album (Instrumental Rock), so I can really count myself lucky that we have such a station here in South Africa.
I recorded the entire album in my "home" studio. I played guitar, bass and keys. Larry Rose played all drums and percussion, Grant Tregella played classical guitar and Dave Sharp played the Hammond C3.
Hope you enjoy…
Cheers,
Peter.
Sounds great. Good luck!
