does anyone know if you can use a re-writeable CD (CD-RW) for creating audio CD's? when i'm working on a mix i like to check it on several different systems. it seems like a waste however to sacrifice a complete CD for a single tune each time i want to do this. is it possible to use CD-RW media to create an audio CD that is readable by a consumer CD player? and then can I re-record on the CD several times so I don't keep making "one-offs" each time I want to check my mix on another system?

also, if this is possible, i assume the CD burning software needs to support this feature? does anyone know if Steinberg Wavelab supports this (or any other tool available on the Win. platform)?

thanks,
- neil
