Thanks, sorry for coming off rude before. I sometimes read things way too fast and I've asked the question about the 900's on another site and all I got was a bunch of people saying they should be good because the 600's are. I have 604s and the 609 and they rock. Very glad to hear the 904's are good, assuming thats what you meant by wow, anyway I'm sold, and man they look pretty.

It is all good.
I do not care how they look.
By the way the 901 is an amazing mic.THe 906 is so flexible with the response switch.

What is you drum mic setup???

604's on the toms, 57 on the snare, ksm109's for the overheads, audix d6 on the kick, i also have d2's and the fusion f10's but rarely use them. what is your set up with the new mics? I saw there was a couple different snare mics. Yeah looks don't matter much but they are nice lookin. I think like you I might just buy the whole line up, i'm a mic addict.

I hjave e901-902 on kick.or jyst the 901 if a bassist want to mic the bass amp
903 snare 3 904 toms 906 guitar or sometimes 2 toms.
akg c430 overhead.Happy with them.Very natural.A litle Noisy if gained but who cares about the noise for overheads.I always fix in post.SOund very very good on hi hat.If I upgrade the overhead mics I will save the akgc430 for hi hat.
