Simon,

How do you have the mixer for the Audiophile set up? What application are you recording with, and have you run a wave profile in the application to make sure it recognizes the Audiophile as the default audio device? Are you actually able to record into your software? If you have an embedded soundcard in your system, you might need to go to Control Panel and disable it. I used to use the Audiophile, it took me a couple of days of head scratching to get all the settings correct. BTW, check to see what level your tape out on the Behringer is, might be -10, in which case you need to set the card level to -10, or find another output from the board that gives you +4.

Basically my mixer is set up like this, Tape output (Phono RCA) >> Input of Audiophile (Phono RCA). Im using Adobe Audition, my computer reconises the Audiophile as the main Soundcard for Input and Output. Yes i am able to record sound into my software. Theres no settings to turn the input up on the Audiophile, its controled by the Behringer, you can only turn the output up or down.

I dont have the I/O or AA, but lemme see if I can help...

A recommended setup for your application would be recommended set up like so:

Mics / Input sources --> Mixer
Main Outs --> Audiophile rca inputs (get the correct adapters)
Audiophile rca outputs --> Stereo Aux inputs of the mixer
Control Room outs --> Monitors / Headphones
*Also Consumer audio card outs --> Mixer rca tape ins
(For listening to consumer audio sources from another audio card such as games and whatnot.)

Did you make sure you have Waveout or the spdif waveouts (if you're using them) selected as the output destination in Audition?
