The Behringer DI box is cheap and of basic decent quality. It does what it is supposed to do but I still wouldn't own or use one for recording. But then I am one who never goes cheap...

What DI do you recommand?

Before everyone says it, the brick by groove tubes, heard its great as a mic pre and as a di.

The cheapest DI I would get would by the countryman. It's a good solid DI. It's not as good as the brick or an Avalon U5, but it's a lot cheaper, smaller, and it works great for live situations too.
