I'm looking to build a computer for a home studio. I would like to start with the right motherboard. I currently own a Roland EP70 that I some times plug into my computer using MIDI. The only problem is that if I decide to use a sound that comes with the CW8(cakewalk)I get a delay of about 1.5sec. until the sound comes from the spks. Along with the keyboard, I was looking at hooking up a mic (or two), an electric guitar, and maybe some other instruments. To accomplish this I was looking at Echo Layla.
