Stay with that setup man!! You will get more plugin and VSTi power than the Mac to be honest..
One thin I reccomend is to put all the Apps and OS on the main IDE drive. This way it keeps the registry cleaner and a better path to the applications. Using more than one drive for OS and apps will cause a bog at one point or another. Yes SCSI is fast for stream but it makes no sense for the applications especially with a CPU like that.
Keep your audio data on the SCSI for a faster throughput speed.
Other than that..sounds like a rockin system..please let me know how it goes as I am looking at that motherboard as well!

Thanks for the info I'll put all the apps on the system drive and run the audio data on the scsi drives and the 60gig. I have cubase /vst32 5.0and logic 4.78 platinum, rebirth 1.2 acid 3.0,fruityloops3. Should I run cubase or logic I think logic is harder to learn maybe. Oh I plan on using my roland xp50 keyboard with this setup and I have a tascam mkII 4 track tape and a sony dtc-a7 dat. do I need a mixer some say no some of the books I am reading on this say I need a mixer.
Please help.

Yes, Logic can be a bitch to learn, especially with that manual they have :roll: ,but once you get the hang of it I've heard it's the nuts..I'm just so used to Cubase/Nuendo(Cubendo as some are calling it!)
Cubase is nice due to the TrueTape function..it truly adds an analog quality that brings it to life!!
As far as a mixer goes, yeah. I truly reccomend getting a small Mackie 1402 or higher. It's well worth it due to routing possibilities and so forth. It's what I use and dont regret ever have gotten it either

I think "Atlantian" was in between the two German versions; also, one German version was "high" German, the other "low" German... may possibly have also included a verbal transfer between the Swahili and that Bushman's "clicking" lingo... Steve
