Usually the scale will be the same for the input mic and the harmonies.
The only way to get more notes out of a scale (like accidental alteration) is to put it to chromatic tuning instead of scale but it will screw the harmonies..
Just a thought are you sure the note is part of the Bm scale ? maybe they're ain't... Maybe the right key is something else ???

Have you tried the steps given in p11 of the manual for selecting the key for harmony and hardtune? I have never used a VoiceLive Touch, but my interpretation of what is said there is that you can select any of the 12 major or minor Western scales. Both these effects will work only if there is a suitable input signal present.

OMG, i am having the exact same problem as the original poster!! I have set the correct note for the song (A) and the correct scale (MIN2) and it sounds great until one part of my song where i try and shift a half note down (i do this a lot in my singing) and it corrects it to either a whole note down or up - just can't get that half note. PLease help!!!! I'm using the hard tune as an effect - not because i need pitch correction - but it just sounds so darn sweet in my song!!!

Are you sure that the song fits into the key signature and simple tuning - as in the key of C Major, for instance - having a B and a B flat is going to annoy it. Chromatic should work, but of course your tuning needs to be good if you intend using it for effect, because with all 12 notes rather than 8 - you'll get more errors. Probably the solution would be to simply repeat the troublesome phrase in a key setting where it does get the intervals right and edit them in?

Are you saying that A minor is the key of the song, and you want it to recognise a sung G# and not correct it to a G? Which style parameter are you using in the Hardtune effect?

This really seems to be a case where you only have the notes available in the Major or minor scale and you are trying to use one outside of that - I cannot think of any other reason.
