I need to listen to this in the studio (I'll be there tomorrow) But here are my initial thoughts :
On my own again, sounds very good. Playing and recordings are excellent. One exception for me is the vocal, who is a bit thin and out of the sonic mood of the rest of the song.. but it may be that the voice itself sounded like that... But for me, I'd dig for a bit more bottom and maybe a tinny bit more reverb..

Get in the way does sound very good too.. I find the drum a bit far in the mix compared to the other song... Same comment for the vocal
The mix maybe missing low mids a bit too..

I'll get back to you when I get to the studio (maybe with appologies) :ROFLMAO:

Yep, I still think the vocals to be a bit nazal and missing low end.. Of course, if there ain't any in the vocal or the track recorded... nothing can be done to the mix...
For Get in the way, I'd like the guit and B3 to clearer in the mix.. I kind of loose them often..
But hey ! 2 great songs.. thanks for sharing !!!

Would like to hear a bit of reverb or delay on the vocal in "on my own again" to get it to sit with the performance better. It sounds separate here. But I really enjoyed the song and the playing. I would listen to this any day. Same critique with the vocal on"get in the way". I can hear the influence of The Nevilles meets Sly with a little Stevie Wonder mixed in. I think the verb or delay on the vocal will really help at the end of phrases particularly where the drop is abrupt - I wanna hear some sustain/echo to carry my ear. LOved both songs. Gonna listen a few more times over the day.
