The mods for not letting manufacturers into the forum to poison real opinions, that is it, have a good weekend, I will be celebrating my 31st birthday at yankees stadium tomorrow.

yes, you've been extremely respectful around here so I hope you know that I meant others, not you and our problem was years ago.
I could go on about the shill hierarchy and buddy system that used to stink up this place 10 years ago until I got wise and took drastic measure. I actually enjoy ranting about it all ( could write a book) but it isn't cool for me in this chair, plus its hard to believe anyway, so won't.
They wanted to be the biggest and most powerful and now they are in every way. I hope GS keeps the classified going because that's the best part of the site.
Steve, I have enjoyed everything you've had to offer, verbally.
Steve, I have enjoyed everything you've had to offer, verbally. Sorry I haven't purchased anything from you but there is nothing I need to purchase nor do I have the money currently to do so.
The Yankees are and have been one of my favorite teams. Baseball, the great American pastime.

But let me say this! I don't recall a manufacturer ever being out of line here since we opened the door though. If anything, I have to invite them or they don't show up! When they do, its always to set records straight ( which I welcome because we don't allow BS here) and/or to elaborate on a question directly related to content with their name in it. Thats the right thing to do. They stay out of shilling their gear or ever pushing it on anyone.
I make it a priority to support manufacturers and help them best I can because I know, without them, we don't exist either. Its a circle that we all share. We need to remember that.
But.... Its been dealers that have been a challenge right from our grand opening. They used to think forums were a free place to shill gear. They would use the line "we are here helping members". I welcomed dealers until I saw how it degrades a forum. I've had to blacklist some dealers because they wouldn't stop shilling. Some have been absolutely cut throat and vicious. I have a lot of stories about dealers and how they use forums and the PM system to move gear. I could write a book on all this.
Anyways, thanks for the kind words, I'm sure the mods and I too, appreciate that indeed. We all work hard on keeping this community real. There seems to be a common understanding with our community over spamming and shills.
Happy Birthday !!! and wow... yankees stadium. have fun smoke
