By the way, what part of Spain are you in? I studied in Madrid for awhile and spent a lot of time exploring Spain. Beautiful place!

I'd have to say that Crane Song Ltd. is my favorite gear maker - I've only ever heard of them on pro recording type message boards/forums (maybe one mention in a magazine somewhere, but no ads.) I too have fond memories of studying in Spain (San Lorenzo del Escorial, not Madrid - but close) & traveling throughout the country.
