Ok to mount tape deck at an angle ?

Hello!

Ill be getting a console made by on the argosy D15 workstations, with an angled 8U space on both sides.

Is it ok to mount a Tape deck/Cd player (Tascam CDA500) in this rack ? Or should have one side modifies to a vertical rack 3U space ?

The only issue that you may have is with the CD sliding out of the tray. I have some CD160s mounted in slanted racks like this:

And it has never been any problem. I don't know if you could push it too much further.

thanks sheet.. as long as the CD doesnt slipout while it's 'in' the deck, i think it's only gonna be ok. My main concern was with the loading and spinning of the CD.
