just got adobe audition 3.0 when i recorded with kristal i used a normal jack mic and plug it into the mic slot on the comp to record how do it do this with adobe
You can do the same thing. You just have to select your input on each stick. You can set up default in and out via the Audio Harware Setup. Normally you would use an interface with an ASIO driver however the onboard card be used as well.
Also, a "normal" plug microphone WON'T fit in a laptop. A normal microphone plug is called an XLR. Occasionally they can be adapted to the bastardized chat program input motherboards call a mic input. A standard computer mic input for web chatting would work without adapters.
